188-colour-me-pretty-_1 On the rare mornings when the sun shines during these first months of the year, I am committed to meet the bright light with a little brightness of my own. But with black being my wardrobe colour of choice, with some grey thrown in for variety, it's not always easy. This year though, it's been Secret Legwear to the rescue. Bright blue, berry hues and rich reds and golds have kept my glams gorgeous this season. An easy, and affordable,  way to look on the bright side.

Jegging Whoever designed the jegging really got it right.

What looks like an amazing pair of jeans but fits like your favourite pair of comfy leggings is every girl’s dream come true. The only trick is finding the right pair which has the perfect ratio of jeans versus legging. Too much jean and your jegging will feel uncomfortable. Too much legging and you’re wearing hosiery as pants (definitely not classy!).

Bluenotes has this complicated ratio down to a science.

The Pull on Jegging, made with 75% cotton, 23% polyester and the oh-so-important 2% spandex, is a blend of fashionista perfection. It's available in 4 different washes and features all the "jean" details such as faux front pockets and zipper, real back pockets and orange top stitching. Most importantly, they've got an elastic waistband and plenty of stretch.

Wear em' to bed if you want. They're that comfy!

JuicyBraceletjpg I was very excited when I got the call that Juicy Couture was FINALLY coming to Canada. They opened their first Canadian store in Yorkville Mall in Toronto on June 2, 2010. They also have outlets in select Bay stores.  I’ve practically been living in Juicy sweats at home for 7 years now but my new favourite item is this rockin’ multi-chain bracelet.  And I’m not the only one who loves it. I get compliments on it every time I wear it – which is almost as much as I wear my sweats!  I’ve also got my eye on a gold version with colourful fabric ribbons woven through the flat-link chains and feathers in the middle.

Sabo Thomas Sabo Charm Club

I have to admit, I am addicted to Thomas Sabo charms. Though he has several stunning sterling silver collections with detailed designs and sparkling jewels, I am hooked on the fabulous charms. There are hundreds of charm topics to choose from - everything from zodiac signs to Disney characters, fashion to faith, glitter letters to good luck and so many more. I loved the charm bracelet I had started so much, I bought one for my mother to start collecting too. Thomas Sabo is hugely popular across Europe and making its way to North America. If you're lucky enough to live in Toronto or Vancouver, two official stores opened late last year, but there are several authorized dealers across the country.

Sorels Sorels

Some people think they're ugly, others think they are hot...either way I'm in love with my Sorels because I'm no longer a hostage to old man winter.  My tootsies have never been so toasty, which keeps the rest of my body warm.  For those of you hate winter as much as I do, get yourself a pair and get ouside.  I almost guarantee they'll change your life.
